Christmas in the Park has been run in, and by, the Goldfields community for over 20 years. It was started by the selfless and very community minded people of the Church of Christ and, until recently, continued to be run by their amazing group of volunteers. Christmas of 2020 saw a new organisation, Empowering People In Communities Kalgoorlie (EPIC), at the helm. EPIC ran the event for Christmas 2020 and 2021. After Christmas in the Park 2021 a very new, and exciting, change was taking place. Golden Community Mile was formed, and will be presenting Kalgoorlie's Christmas in the Park from 2022 and into the future. The event itself will remain the fantastic event that our community has come to know and love.

The event brings an amazing day, filled with fun and food. We have a plethora of activities ranging from various yard games, water play, music and art stations just to name a few. Along with all of the activities there is also a fantastic Christmas lunch served to everyone in attendance. Christmas in the Park really does epitomise the awesome generosity of our community.
